Stone Solicitors has retained its Gold Star rating for risk management with The Institute of Legal Research and Standards for the fifth year running.
Stone Solicitors achieved the highest possible overall score this year for the second year running and are the only law firm in Ireland to have done so.
The Q6000 is a quality management standard specifically written for solicitors in Ireland and which is designed to provide independent verification of the risk management standards which operate within a law firm. The Q6000 standard requires the implementation and application of certain disciplines, controls and standards in 8 key areas-client management, file management, regulatory compliance, risk management, practice management, human resources, information technology and financial management.
Managing Partner, Val Stone says “We are delighted to have achieved the Q6000 standard this year with a score of 100% in the audit for the second year running which is a result which has not been achieved by any other Law Firm in Ireland so far. It is a difficult standard to achieve but in the current climate we feel that quality of service is paramount and the Q6000 mark is an important verification and validation of the procedures and controls operating within our firm. I am very appreciative of the hard work and dedication shown by all of our staff in achieving this accreditation.”
Stone Solicitors moved to new premises earlier this year to the former National Irish Bank building at the corner of The Bull Ring and North Main Street, Wexford
